We are introducing a new initiative to help people find the most appropriate source of help when they book an appointment. Please see our 'Care Navigation' page on the appointments link for more details.

Test Results

If a doctor or nurse has arranged a blood test or X-Ray, he or she will have advised you how to obtain the result. This will either be by asking you to make a further appointment to see them or by telephoning the surgery 4 – 5 days later. When telephoning for results we ask you to please phone after 11:00.

Please ensure you know how to obtain the result before leaving the surgery. THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

The surgery cannot contact every person to inform them of test results.

Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. In this respect we will only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given prior permission for their release or if they are not capable of understanding them.
